Sathorn Overview

Sathorn Road is a major Road in Bangkok that stretches from Lumpini Park at the Rama 4 junction, to the Riverside at Taksin Bridge. The area is dotted with Foreign Embassies and High-rise gleaming Corporate Office Buildings, which support the Cities’ fastest growing Business and Commercial district. It is also the home of Bangkok’s trendy Hotels including the Banyan Tree, Sukhothai and Metropolitan.
Sathorn Guide

Sathorn Road is a major four lane road system flowing in each direction and not a Shopping district itself, but the Suan Lum Night Bazaar is interesting to visit, with its Shops and Stalls offering Clothes, Jewellery, Fashion Accessories and Furniture. Sathorn is however served by the Skytrain (BTS) at Surasak Station and very close to the major Shopping complexes of Central World, Siam Paragon, MBK and Gaysorn.
For entertainment in the area, visit the Thai Boxing Stadium at Lumpini Park or the recently opened Life Centre, with its Fitness Centre, Dance School, Health Products and Restaurants. Lumpini Park itself is the largest in Bangkok and offers an opportunity to enjoy peace and tranquillity, amongst the hectic life of the City.
Sathorn Maps
Sathorn West and East flowing Roads have access to the major Expressway intersections, enabling fast journey times to Don Muang Domestic Airport or Suvarnabhumi International Airport, normally taking around forty minutes by Taxi.
